Our journey with AI in video production
During the process of applying artificial intelligence (AI) to multi-platform video production, I directly experienced a powerful transformation in the workflow, bringing optimal efficiency and significantly expanding content creation capabilities for the business.
At first, we also had concerns about whether AI could replace humans, or whether improper implementation might waste resources. However, in reality, AI is not simply a replacement technology - it is a highly effective supporting tool that shortens production time, reduces costs, and expands content reach across multiple communication channels.
Traditional workflows often involve many complex steps, such as ideation, scriptwriting, filming, editing, post-production, and finally distribution. Coordinating with multiple suppliers while relying on manual processes can easily lead to errors, prolong completion time, and limit scalability as well as responsiveness to market changes.
Human creativity & AI automation must co-exist
One of the biggest challenges is finding the right balance between human creativity and AI-driven automation, ensuring that every piece of content still carries authentic emotional value. To achieve this, we fully leverage unique user-generated data from Chợ Tốt along with internal insights, enabling us to deliver highly relevant, meaningful, and valuable information tailored specifically to user needs.
AI-Integrated workflow solution

We built a flexible and optimized AI-integrated workflow system, applying AI throughout every stage:
- Collecting multi-dimensional data from news sources and market trends combined with internal data from Ad-view (listings from Cho Tot users), ensuring a deep and diverse data foundation.
- Automatic content creation with AI to generate scripts, titles, and descriptions tailored to specific customer segments.
- Video production powered by modern image processing technology, ensuring stable and professional quality.
- AI voiceover with diverse tones to create a lively and engaging experience.
- Centralized video management and distribution across social media platforms and websites with automated moderation, optimizing communication effectiveness.
More importantly, this workflow was designed to be open and modular, allowing us to easily replace or add steps as needed, or integrate different AI tools without limiting creativity. This provides maximum flexibility while maintaining efficiency and technological advancement throughout the entire production process.
Alongside that, we integrated both original content and user-generated content (UGC) to support effective SEO, while building a natural backlink ecosystem across platforms. This contributes significantly to enhancing credibility and keyword rankings on search engines, adding depth and diversity to our digital content strategy.
What we achieved and discovered
The outstanding results after one month of implementing the AI-integrated workflow clearly demonstrated the success of this approach:

- The initial phase focused on increasing production efficiency and reducing costs, cutting video completion time by up to 90% (from an average of 60 minutes to only 6-8 minutes), lowering expenses by more than 80%, while maintaining high-quality output comparable to traditional production.
- The next phase accelerated content diversification and improved communication performance across multiple product categories, significantly expanding reach, engagement, and conversion.
We also developed and deployed an advanced SEO Video module with three core components: Creator Hub (content creation and AI-generated videos), Video Management (automatic video control), and Template Management (video templates powered by AI tool).
The flexible connection between platforms enables efficient overall operation, real-time campaign tracking, and fast decision-making to maintain competitive advantage in the digital market.
